Starting as a daycare entrepreneur, Barbara Cox built her business from the ground up with a genuine passion for caring for others and creating opportunities. Her intimate knowledge of the Charlotte market, its communities and its properties led her friends and family to refer her to anyone moving to the area!
Our Origins
That’s when Barbara Cox built Corporate Relocation. Today the company revolves around the local relationships she’s built that national corporate housing companies can’t replicate. The values that started it all: family, service, and a commitment to helping others, is still the core foundation of our philosophy. From the beginning, Corporate Relocation wasn’t competing on size. It was competing on something harder to scale — genuine care for the people walking through the door.
Nearly three decades later, that foundation has only grown stronger. The team has expanded. The portfolio of furnished apartments spans the Carolinas, and locations across the U.S.. The monthly rate is higher than a standard 12-month lease — but that lease requires a long-term commitment, separate utility accounts, your own furniture, and setup time you likely don't have.
Our units start at $99 per day, all-inclusive — furniture, utilities, Wi-Fi, linens, and housewares covered. When compared to a hotel on a per-day basis, or the cost of setting up a short-term apartment lease independently, most clients find it's the most straightforward and cost-effective option for stays of 30 days or more!

Corporate housing is a fully furnished apartment rented by the month — furniture, utilities, Wi-Fi, linens, and housewares all included. Unlike a hotel, you get a full apartment with a kitchen, washer and dryer, and real living space. Unlike Airbnb, stays are longer term, pricing is consistent, and you're working directly with a professional housing provider who manages everything on your behalf.

Our minimum stay is 30 days and most stays run 60 to 90 days, though some extend to 12 to 18 months. We operate on a month-to-month basis with a 30-day notice to vacate — so if your timeline changes, you're not locked in. We work with you to adjust as needed.

Every unit is physically walked and inspected by a member of our team before you move in. We take photos, confirm everything is in place, and send you detailed arrival instructions including Wi-Fi information and access codes. Someone on our team is also reachable directly, 24/7, if anything comes up.

Getting started is simple. Reach out through our contact form, give us a call, or send us an email — we typically respond within 1 business day. Tell us where you're headed, when you need to move in, how many bedrooms are required, and how long you're staying. We'll send you available options, walk you through the details, and handle everything from there. Most clients are placed and confirmed within 2 weeks of their first call.
