Our Origins

Corporate Relocation Inc. has been the Southeasts’ most trusted name in corporate housing since 1997 — run by the same family that built it, with the same commitment that has kept clients coming back for decades. Starting as a daycare entrepreneur, Barbara Cox built her business from the ground up with a genuine passion for caring for others and creating opportunities. Her intimate knowledge of the Charlotte market, its communities and its properties led her friends and family to refer to anyone moving to the area!

That’s when Barbara Cox built Corporate Relocation. Today the company revolves around the local relationships she’s built that national corporate housing companies can’t replicate. The values that started it all: family, service, and a commitment to helping others, is still the core foundation of our Philosophy. From the beginning, Corporate Relocation wasn’t competing on size. It was competing on something harder to scale — genuine care for the people walking through the door.

Nearly three decades later, that foundation has only grown stronger. The team has expanded. The portfolio of furnished apartments spans the Carolinas, and locations across the U.S..
